I have reviewed several hotels in Montreal in no particular order. Take your time to read my recommendations — I’m sure they will help you choose the right hotel. These reviews are based on my personal experiences, and each hotel has offered me something memorable during my stays.

I have not yet visited all the hotels in Montreal, but I look forward to adding more to my list. There are many beautiful and reputable hotels left to explore, so if you have recommendations, I would greatly appreciate them — I may even add them to my list.

Ritz-Carlton Montreal

A modern take on a world-renowned hotel, the Ritz-Carlton Montreal is elegant and sophisticated. The marble floors, stunning staircases, and luxurious rooms blend modern comfort with classic charm. Service is exceptional — from the valet greeting you at arrival to the professional reception staff and meticulously prepared rooms.

Le Maison Boulud offers exquisite dining with multiple seating options, including a rock garden with a duck pond, a glasshouse overlooking the garden, and an intimate bar. Reservations are recommended, as this restaurant is very popular. The location is ideal for luxury shoppers, with Holt Renfrew and Tiffany’s nearby.


Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth

Known for its charm and consistently courteous service, Fairmont properties never disappoint. The Montreal location offers beautifully appointed rooms and a unique ambiance. Dining at the Beaver Club is a highlight, with a menu and atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. Amenities include a pool for swimming or relaxation, and rates are very competitive for the quality offered.

Located next to the Bell Centre and steps from St. Catherine Street, this hotel offers spacious rooms, some with kitchenettes, and thoughtful amenities like Nespresso machines. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel features a pool, Jacuzzi, gym, and spa. A perfect combination of relaxation and convenience.

This boutique hotel in Old Montreal is a beautiful mix of historic charm and modern comforts. Rooms often feature exposed brick, fireplaces, and large bathrooms, some with river views. The rooftop terrace and main lobby bars provide lively atmospheres. The staff is professional and helpful, particularly the concierge, who offers excellent city recommendations.

Perfectly located in Old Montreal, it’s close to museums, restaurants, and historic attractions. The staff is friendly, and the concierge provides insider tips on the city. One of my personal favorites for comfort and ambiance.

A stylish hotel in a lively area, Loews Hotel Vogue features sunlit rooms, relaxing sunken Jacuzzi tubs, and attentive staff. The location is ideal for nightlife, dining, and shopping. Valet service and professional amenities make this a very comfortable stay.

The Hotel W offers modern, cozy decor with an excellent ambiance. It is conveniently connected to the metro and located near Bixi bike rentals. Top-floor rooms provide quiet and views, while the lounge and bar areas are trendy and vibrant. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and stylish.

I stayed in a 2-bedroom suite and was impressed with the spacious living area and walk-in closets. The hotel is quiet, professional, and perfectly located near Old Montreal and St. Catherine Street. Amenities are excellent, and staff is always helpful, making it a highly recommended stay.
